Alba Bagpipes is seeking to recruit suitably qualified pipers to fulfil piping contracts. You should be a competent piper with a minimum 10 years experience of playing the bagpipes. Full number one uniform preferred but not essential. If you are interested in earning some extra money contact us now.

Calling all Brides and of course Grooms. Alba Bagpipes are please to announce their participation in a very special wedding week extravaganza. In the run up to this months Royal Wedding, Alba Bagpipes together with a collection of the North East’s finest wedding suppliers will be setting up shop for one week in the Academy Shopping Centre on School Hill, Aberdeen.

This will be an excellent opportunity to meet with local suppliers and discus your wedding day requirements. With special events happening throughout the week including a fashion show, live musical performances and goodies to be won, this event promises to have something for everyone.

Here is just a sample of the suppliers already confirmed for this week long event running between Monday 25^th and Sunday 1^st April 2011.

Alba Bagpipes are excited after being approached by Talkback Thames Productions to supply a piper to perform for a TV documentary. Alba Bagpiper Aaron Hay has been chosen as the lucky piper to appear in the show. Aaron’s years of experience will ensure a smooth day of recording and help showcase the talent on offer at Alba Bagpipes. Keep checking back for pictures and an update on when the show will be aired.

Marriott Hotel Wedding Exhibition 20/03/2011

Alba Bagpipes was once again please to be part of the Marriott Hotel Wedding Exhibition. A great day was had by all and everyone, including the lucky exhibitors, was treated to some fantastic food prepared by the Marriott’s top class chefs. Bev from Cakes by Design was on hand once again with some lovely cake samples which went down a treat with our afternoon coffee.

Alba Bagpipes will be exhibiting at the Thainstone Wedding exhibition in association with Dynamic Promotions this Saturday from 11am till 4pm. Come along and discuss your requirements with one of our team who will be happy to provide you with all the information you need on hiring a bagpiper for your big day.
